剧情简介
White Lies is described as an “urgent exploration of race and privilege, inequality and identity.” Set in the wealthy neighbourhood of Bishopscourt, Cape Town, the series is described as following investigative journalist Edie Hansen (Dormer) as she gets caught up in the ugly underbelly that lies beneath the picturesque beauty of the city, dragging her back to a turbulent past....。繁华都市的苍凉一隅，破破烂烂的拆迁房旁边，鬓发斑白的老肖（吴坚 饰）独立经营着一个颇显寒酸的早点铺。老肖曾是一名在老山前线光荣负伤的英雄，回到家乡后，温柔的妻子和刚出生不久的儿子给他带来无限的自豪与喜悦。他的儿子肖大宝在很小的时候便展现出过人的天赋，其才能甚至引起国家领导人的关注。可惜，青少年时期的大宝（肖央 饰）却变成《伤仲永》似的人物，他整天打架、弹琴、泡妞，让爱之笃深的老肖丢尽颜面，羞愧交加。 在挨了父亲一次痛打之后，大宝选择离家出走。两代人的隔阂与矛盾，以及万里的路途，终究无法截断父子间那骨血中永世的挂念与牵绊……。
