剧情简介
民国暴雨夜，记者、药商、戏子和老板被困闹鬼城隍庙，为熬过长夜讲述十年前海棠村奇案。当庙外突然响起与死者下葬时一模一样的唢呐声，腐朽的供桌下竟爬出一具穿着嫁衣的枯骨——原来这场暴雨，本就是为索命而来的天意！。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
