剧情简介
1890年，湖广总督张之洞在武汉创建了汉阳兵工厂，开始研制中国自己的武器。主人公刘汉阳的父亲刘鄂是枪炮师陈江南的徒弟，刘鄂与江雷、荆尚柯、夏之前并称为四大弟子。就在他们研制武器取得重大成果的时候，师父陈江南却成为了一场阴谋的牺牲者，在研制现场被炸死。四大弟子决心查明真相为师父报仇，并立誓研制出中国自己的制式步枪——汉阳造。兄弟四人无法抵挡历史大潮的浪头，他们投身辛亥革命，江雷为此献出生命，刘鄂也在武器试验中丧生，荆尚柯退居山野，夏之前与日本妻子专注于生意场，却不知自己早已被日本间谍暗中利用……。Helen Ferguson, pregnant, penniless and dumped by her boyfriend Steve Morley, takes the identity of the pregnant Patrice Harkness, when she and her husband are killed in a train crash.
