阿满是一个农民的儿子，也是一个贫困生，靠着自己勤奋的努力，考上了大学，来到了大都市。阿满靠着自己的辛勤奋斗，勤工俭学，读完了大学，取得了优异的成绩。阿满不但收获了知识，还收获了爱情……。Back in the 80s, five friends cause raucous in their schooldays. Twenty years on and they've got jobs they don't want and wives who don't want them. The leader of the gang, Frankie, is now dying in Yorkshire.
