“那女孩究竟是谁？” 美少女「藤乃朱」意外坠楼身亡后，一个女孩自称是「朱」的孪生妹妹「樱」，某日突然出现在作家·沟吕木面前。名为「樱」的少女长得和朱一模一样，但是却无人能够证实她的来历。亟欲从两人身上找到关联的沟吕木，本身也因为抄袭事件身陷泥沼无法自拔。抄袭了朱的小说的沟吕木，接受了自称持有被抄袭小说原稿的樱的提议，被逐渐逼入黑暗之中。同时，相关编辑和负责追查「朱」之死的真相的刑警也在背后穷追不舍。围绕着这几人展开的谜团，越发难以解开———。Mexico is one of the world’s most dangerous countries for journalists.
