How a handful of craftsmen is preserving this centurie...。1945年抗战胜利后，若冰随父司马祖荫由重庆回津，全家团圆。若冰与仆人之子李冀相恋，遭父反对，私奔时，李冀被抓当兵。司马祖荫贪污案发，若冰携母赴沪卖唱。屡次与李冀相遇，终未得见。1949年，接收天津法院的检察官郭新哲命李冀偷运黄金，李冀不知若冰也在船上，跳海开了小差。轮船失事，若冰母女获救。五十年代初期，母女生活艰难，若冰卖唱，司马祖荫闻知，偷渡来台，若冰却以“通匪”罪被捕。若冰在狱中受尽折磨，司马祖荫威胁郭新哲营救若冰。六十年代，若冰赴日演唱，巧遇李冀。八十年代，若冰约若聪赴港相会，老母摔伤未成行。郭占魁助若聪闯关遭拒，机场姐弟洒泪而别。两岸关系缓和，若冰伴母回津，用歌声唤醒植物人李冀。二人举行婚礼，年迈的父亲突然出现，小洋楼历尽沧桑，家人重聚。。
