The story takes us back to 1889, in the wake of primary school teacher Louise Violet who is sent to a village in the French countryside to enforce Republic schooling (which is free, compulsory and secular). It’s a mission which secures her unpopularity, among children and parents alike…。大学期间，性格内向孤僻的李依依与舍友韩璐因钱产生误会，遭到韩璐对其人身攻击和人格侮辱，致使李依依对韩璐进行报复行动，韩璐在山中写生，李依依欲将韩璐推下悬崖，没想到打斗中李依依一脚踩空，自己掉下了悬崖，从此李依依失踪……。
