This story is based where the skateboard culture is the most foreign, the Midwest. Derrick Cabrera, like all skaters, has a dream of being sponsored and one day going pro. He is an up and coming skater with all the talent but has the world against him. Parents, friends and schoolmates can't understand how Derrick has so much passion for something that has no future in their eye...。尤哈（萨卡里·库斯曼嫩 Sakari Kuosmanen 饰）和玛利亚（卡蒂·奥廷宁 Kati Outinen 饰）是一对生活在幸福和平淡之中的老夫少妻，两人住在他们经营的农场里，离群索居不问世事。一天，一个名叫辛麦卡（安德烈·维尔姆斯 André Wilms 饰）的男人来到了农场，他的车抛锚了。善良的尤哈邀请辛麦卡在农场过夜，哪知道就此为自己找了个麻烦。 原来，辛麦卡是一个油嘴滑舌的花花公子，他花言巧语诱惑和哄骗了玛利亚，最终，玛利亚决定和辛麦卡私奔。然而，来到了大城市后，辛麦卡才露出了自己的真面目，他将玛利亚卖到了一家妓院里替自己工作。当尤哈得知了玛利亚的近况后，他决定向辛麦卡寻仇。。
