叶小楠与周燕的婚礼当天，周燕母亲张翠莲突然要求叶小楠将婚房过户给小舅子周强，叶小楠犹豫时，意外听见周燕的心声，发现她在假装哭泣以逼自己妥协，怀疑是幻听。 随后，周燕假装撞墙，叶小楠确定自己能听见心声，知晓其真实意图......。The film opens with a narrated disclaimer over footage of an opening coffin.
