《平壤之约》原名《阿里郎》，影片讲述由刘冬饰演的中国青年舞蹈家王晓楠，在民族舞蹈大会表演朝鲜民族舞蹈《铃铛》时意外失败，懊恼之际，奶奶安排她跟中朝电影交流团去平壤，并托付她去找抗美援朝时期的战友秀美。王晓楠和青年舞蹈家金银顺产生误会，为了消除误会金银顺安排她到自己家乡的农村和乡亲们见面，观摩十万人表演的团体操，经过种种周折，主人公终于实现了抗美援朝老一辈人的愿望。。Having witnessed his junkie father killed Russell Stevens grows up to become a policeman and make a difference.
